Hi All

Just to let you know that we have a U7's team now and they have played their first game on Sunday. They played against Sutton U7's and showed some good potential of what is to come from them.

The game was played in 4X10 mins periods, which seems to suite the kids at this age,and the Myrtle U7's really enjoyed themselves. The game was a really close contest between the 2 teams and unfortunately we let a couple of late goals in to end up losing by 5 goals to3.

Over all I think we have the makings of a good little team and they will grow in strength as they play more games.

If anybody know's of any child aged upto 7 ( after August) who would like to play football, then please tell them about us. The U7's train on a Saturday afternoon down at our own pitch, which is just over the left Iron Bridge in the bottom of Myrtle Park, at 2pm untill 3pm. Just bring them in any clothes that can get mucky, but please make sure they have football boots and shin pads.
