Sorry it has taken a while to put a report in for our last match of this part of the season, but this was due to a big personal issue that i had.

Our under 7's have had a fantastic season to say that we were only formed

6 weeks ago. We have ended this part of the season on a high with a win against Shipley Puma's by 4goals to3. The game started off with Shipley on the front foot and taking the lead, which they quickly increased by scoring 2 other goals in quick succession. At the end of the first quarter we were 3 nil down and with the weather freezing it looked like a harder game than it was through the kids feeling the cold. In the second quarter the kids played really well but were unfortunate not to score, both goalkeepers pulled off some really good saves. In the third quarter we started to put some passing moves together and we ended up with Harris scoring (1-3), we then put more pressure on Shipley and ended up with Harris scoring his second (2-3). As the quarter near it's end Harris scored agin for his hat trick (3-3). The forth quarter was a really close fought game with both sides having chances and both keepers pulling off great saves, late in the quarter ( as it looked like a draw was inevitable) we applied a final push we ended with Harris scoring a forth goal to clinch a victory from a very close game.

I have really enjoyed training and running the U7's and look forward to the restart of our second part of our season. Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and hope Santa brings you all your wishes.
